Adams Renovations built a 27'x 17' office in the basement of our condo.

The first thing to say is that I am very good at visualizing what a project will end up looking like. This one significantly exceeded that vision.

Jeff Adams is a perfectionist and there were always little touches that were not part of the deal but added to the attractiveness of the space. For instance having had scrap baseboard trim, he put trim around the base of a steel column we chose to leave exposed. I joked with him that it looked so good we should add a Corinthian column top to it (then thought better of it!).
When one works with a contractor, there is usually some minor disappointment about some aspect of a job. In our case there has been never such a disappointment. AR has done major painting for us as well as carpentry work, always totally satisfactory.

I love my new office space, a warm welcoming room that never ceases to impress us. It also served as a cocktail party room recently.

I have been extremely pleased with the work Jeff Adams and Adams Renovations have done for me. The first job was exterior painting and carpentry of my house. They did a beautiful job, in fact, several passersby stopped to compliment them on their work. I found Jeff and his crew to be extremely friendly, polite, and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day, and finished the job in a timely fashion, I was so pleased, that since then I have had them do a great deal of work in my old (1804) house. Working in a house this old is challenging, as nothing is plumb, and one often encounters unexpected surprises such as crumbling plaster. Jeff and crew are very creative, they never let the tilting floors or sagging door jams thwart them. Most of what they did for me was painting and plastering, but Jeff also built a couple of stellar bookcases for me, and renovated my old kitchen and bath. Jeff has a good eye for design and color, and is very helpful when planning a room or choosing a paint color. I have only had positive experiences with Adams Renovations and wholeheartedly recommend them to others.

Jeff did a great job with our kitchen renovation, which involved taking things down to the studs, dealing with the oddities of a house that's nearly a century old, and adjusting plans to work around the inevitable problems that arose, like the small roof leak that had been concealed for years, or the need for an extra glue-lam beam that should have been installed during a previous remodeling by the former owners. He was also great about suggesting other folks to work with -- plumber, electrician, plaster guys -- and terrific about managing the job so that even though much of the first floor was torn up for weeks, the impact on us was minimal. We love the new space, and at least once a week my wife says to me how happy she is with it. We've got some more work we need done -- a couple of windows need replacing, and one or two other things -- and when we decided to do these, Jeff was the first call we made.
